2009 and 2010 have been exceptionally busy years creatively for Cerys and as we enter the second half of 2010 and look towards 2011 there appears to be no stopping the crazy innovative buzz of activity.

Highlights of early 2011 will see Cerys presenting a Radio 4 documentary chronicling the background of Pippi Longstocking as well as continuing with her successful 6 Music Sunday Morning show (between 10 and 12).

Cerys has long held an interest in poetry and literature and is fast becoming a widely sought after presenter and contributor in this area both in radio and TV.

She will also present a documentary on the history of Pippi Longstocking for BBC Radio 4.

She has been busy presenting LIVE from Glastonbury for the BBC for the past two years.
2009 included documentaries for BBC Radio 4: Lady Plays the Blues saw Cerys head to Memphis to explore the influences legendary women such as Etta Baker, Rosetta Tharpe and Precious Byrant have had on the current state of music. In addition Cerys explored the history of the BBC’s Maida Vale studios, and presented a documentary on Stax, recording artists like Otis Reading for BBC Radio 2.

This has all happened amidst a busy schedule with BBC Radio 6. ‘Cerys on 6’, her 2009 weekday afternoon radio show saw the stations' afternoon ratings increase week on week. It is Cerys’ wide-ranging and discerning taste in music which led to this huge success, she featured live music from such diverse sources as The Kenyan Boys’ Choir, the Hypnotic brass Ensemble to her coverage of the summer festivals including a live feed direct from Glastonbury Festival, interviewing the likes of Kasabian, Dizzie Rascal, Ray Davies 2 many DJ's and Tom Jones.
2010 Has since seen Cerys back at the station with her Sunday morning show (between 10am and 12) in which ratings have also more then doubled in the past 6 months. Cerys is a fierce supporter of BBC Radio 6 and entirely controls her own playlist, a subject she feels most strongly about.
