2009 and 2010 have been exceptionally busy years creatively for Cerys and as we enter the second half of 2010 and look towards 2011 there appears to be no stopping the crazy innovative buzz of activity.

Early 2011 will see her first children’s book published in along with the airing of a BBC 2 Television series where she will both discover and mentor new young talent. Her passion for poetry will continue with involvement in the Dylan Thomas Awards in Swansea.

Other highlights of early 2011 will see Cerys presenting a television documentary exploring the history of Cuba.

Cerys has long held an interest in poetry and literature and is fast becoming a widely sought after presenter and contributor in this area.
 In 2009 she wrote and presented a very successful primetime BB2 Television Documentary on Celtic Poetry, presented a documentary on Dorothy Squires and was the first non-Irish woman to be invited to give a lecture on Yeats at the National Theatre in Dublin, receiving glowing reviews in the Irish press. Continuing her support of Celtic poetry she also hosted her solo evening on Dylan Thomas at the Dylan Thomas Centre in Swansea.
2010 will see this passion continue as Cerys presents the Best New Unpublished Writer award at the Dylan Thomas Awards in Swansea.

Cerys also brought the BBC’s Children In Need to life presenting live from Wales in November.
2011 will of course see this passion for Television presenting continue with documentaries on the history of Cuba, as well as a BBC 2 Television series discovering and mentoring new talent along with Goldie, Miss Dynamite and Guy Chambers, this airs in January.

Another exciting avenue she has started to explore will see Cerys’ first Children’s book published by Gomar press in January. The book will consist of two welsh myths, read from both the front and back in English language.

Cerys continuously contributes written pieces for print, recent articles have been included in the Telegraph and the Independent.
